Chris Mack – 14 & Under Boys’ Coach
Chris has been deeply connected to aquatics in the local area since the age of six, growing up in Martinez and competing in swimming with both local recreational teams and the Walnut Creek Aquabears. A graduate of De La Salle High School, Chris distinguished himself as a two-time team captain for both the varsity water polo and swim teams. His athletic achievements include being named 1st Team All-League, 1st Team All-NorCal, and earning All-American honors in both sports, as well as being a finalist for DLS Athlete of the Year.
Chris continued his athletic career at Diablo Valley College (DVC), where he competed in both water polo and swimming while also coaching these sports at College Park High School. He later transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he served as a two-time captain of the varsity swim team and played for the Poly club water polo team.
Chris remains active in the aquatic community, participating in Masters water polo competitions and swimming with the Walnut Creek Masters team. After coaching various youth sports over the years, Chris is thrilled to join the 680 staff and coach the sport he is most passionate about.
